Clark University Scholarship Details
For international students, the scholarship discussion at Clark is refreshingly simple—you apply and you are automatically considered for merit awards. Then, if you need financial help beyond merit, you complete one required financial form through your applicant portal.
1) International merit scholarships (automatic consideration)
Clark says international first-year students can be eligible for five merit scholarships:
- International Traina Scholarship
- International Achievement Scholarship
- International Jonas Clark Scholarship
- Presidential Scholarship
- Global Scholars Scholarship
The key thing: international first-year applicants are automatically considered for the first three (Traina, Achievement, and Jonas Clark).
So you don’t “find” these scholarships and apply separately. You focus on submitting a strong admission application.
2) The big ones: Presidential and Global Scholars
Clark notes that separate essays are required to be considered for the Presidential Scholarship and the Global Scholars Program Scholarship.
Clark’s scholarship page also notes the Presidential Scholarship is a four-year award covering tuition, on-campus housing, and meals, with finalists invited to come for an interview.

- Step 1: Submit your admission application: Clark accepts the Common Application (and also Coalition with Scoir).
- Step 2: Activate your Applicant Status Portal: After you apply, you’ll get access to your status portal, where you can track documents and next steps.
- Step 3: If you want financial assistance, complete the required international aid form: Clark requires the International Student Certification of Finances and Financial Assistance Application Form in your applicant portal.
Clark also states this is the only acceptable financial aid application for international students, and they do not accept ISFAA
